Description/Abstract of your Event:

Twitterstorms are a particularly effective form of social media campaigning that make use of our collective networks to trend our causes. We’re going to deep dive into the what, why, and how of Twitterstorms. We will share templates for organizing them, tools to create content for them, and strategies to maximize their effectiveness. Participants will come away with a new tool in their repertoire to generate awareness for their causes, apply pressure on key leaders and institutions, and generally multiply their footprint on social media.
