Going forward with the Media in the Left today: The Pacifica Case

We live in a conflicted era filled with tumultuous technological revolutions in broadcasting in the midst of the growth of neo-fascism internationally.
The importance and role of alternative media are more important than ever in an era where "fake news" becomes the mantra to delegitimate fact-based journalism from any perspective.
The Pacifica Foundation, its five stations, and nearly 200 affiliates reflect these trends as well as much as they buck them.
This panel will explore the problems and solutions to move the needle forward for progressive fact-based media in the United States and world.
