Joshua Murray is Assistant Professor of Sociology at Vanderbilt University. Together with Michael Schwartz, he recently published the book *Wrecked: How the American Automobile Industry Destroyed Its Capacity to Compete,* a "historical-sociological analysis of the downfall of the auto industry," arguing "that the decline of the American manufacturers was the unintended consequence of their attempts to weaken the bargaining power of their unions." Other publications of Murray include Joshua Murray. “Interlock Globally, Act Domestically: Corporate Political Unity in the 21st Century.” 2017. American Journal of Sociology, 122(6): 1617-1663, and Samantha Perez and Joshua Murray. 2016. “Latino Faces, Corporate Ties: Latino Advocacy Organizations and their Board Members.” Sociological Forum, 31(1): 117-137.
