ROBIN FALK ESSER, Ph.D taught Advanced Placement Science for many years in New York City high schools. She received her Ph.D. in Physiology & Biophysics at SUNY Stony Brook Health Sciences Center, published papers in Science, NatureThe Journal of PhysiologyThe Journal of General Physiology, and Biophysical Journal, and is a life-long political activist who worked in the 1965 anti-apartheid mobilization, 1968 Poor People’s Campaign with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Vietnam era antiwar & draft resistance movements, the Anti-Nuke movement, and was a member of the Red Balloon Collective at SUNY Stony Brook.
